About the Agency:
There is an incredible chance for an experienced, ambitious and independent senior account manager to help develop the presence of this internationally respected design and branding agency in Melbourne. They are seeking a self starting senior account handler to manage the relationship with a globally recognized brand, take ownership of their packing and design initiatives, and be the conduit for successfully implementing their campaigns. This is a great opportunity to work with a global agency and broaden your experience in client service, new business and operations.

Role and Responsibilities:
The senior account manager will work with the Sydney office on building the agency's presence in Melbourne; strengthening the relationship with a leading FMCG client; and, leading multiple packaging and design, as well as corporate ID projects. They are responsible for running their own projects, liaising with the client on daily matters, and ensuring the efficiency of running their projects through the agencies in Melbourne and Sydney.
* Taking and interpreting client briefs, then presenting back to the client
* Interpreting the brief and adding value from a strategic perspective
* Day to day project management
* Administering projects from conception to implementation
* Working closely with the design director in Melbourne and senior account director is Sydney
* Writing creative briefs and relaying client objectives to the creative team
* Budget and time management
* Thorough knowledge of design, packaging and art work processes

Key Skills and Qualifications:
To be successfully selected you will possess the following skills and attributes:
- At least 5 years account management experience in a design agency, or working within the FMCG/corporate/financial services space in an advertising agency
- Packaging and design experience needed
- Business development experience a plus
- You will be a diligent, detail oriented and strategically minded account manager
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage many projects in parallel in a calm, professional manner
- Team player capable of prioritising and working autonomously
- Tertiary qualifications in advertising or marketing
