National Display Advertising Sales Director

Leading media innovation our client delivers a variety of daily content to an engaged and diverse audience. Housing many of Australia's favourite media brands this leading company offers a line up of great careers in media and is widely recognised as an employer of choice. A new position has been created for an Advertising Director to strategically drive an increase in large category revenue.

Your key remit is to work closely with various internal stakeholders and their clients to plan and deliver key strategies to support their teams to increase market share and revenue. As part of the leadership team you will be a key influencer in advertising product development across multiple channels and have the opportunity to be part of leading media and digital advertising sales innovation. You will be directly responsible for a small team, however your key focus is to work with your team and other sales teams across the business as a senior commercial partner.

The key skills for this all encompassing role include an ability to plan and strategise for increased revenue in a complex and rapidly developing environment, diplomacy to work with your peers and their varied agendas and sophisticated sales ability to support you as you take this large proposition to senior level in the market. Your most likely background includes a clearly successful media sales and management career to date and experience working in or significant experience selling to media agencies. You have a real passion for digital and the changing media landscape and can identify and substantiate strong take to market sales strategies.
