With new business wins coming in last year their projects are in full swing, and they are seeking an experienced group account director with a enthusiasm for healthcare to lead a broad range of blue chip client accounts and brands.
The Role and Responsibilities:
The group account director is a true leader of the team, partner to the client and key strategist and business developer for the agency. This is a critical role that will work closely with the managing director across all clients - pharmaceutical and high sciences, lead new business development/grow existing accounts, and mentor a team of 4.
This is a highly strategic and autonomous role where you will be:
*Driving the business forward by planning and developing integrated TTL and digital communications strategies
*Work with the client to understand their needs, collaborate with the Head of Planning, and provide solutions
*Identifying opportunities to improve profitability for the agency
*Develop and implement TV, print, press, radio, OOH, POS, and digital campaigns
*Increase digital communications and awareness (web, mobile, email and other progressive mediums)
*Building and mentoring a small team to achieve group wins and exceed client expectations
Core attributes and competencies:
*8-10 years of account services experience at a senior management level
*Pharmaceutical, healthcare or medical experience essential
*Tertiary qualifications needed
