They now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join the team who will sell advertising solutions into digital advertising agencies based in Sydney.
The primary focus of the Account Manager role is to:
- Work in conjunction with all other employees of the company to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual targets
- Be a strong ambassador in the market place at all times
- Actively develop existing business contacts
- Seek out new business contacts and revenue streams
- Grow the business by increasing yield and revenue by increasing number of revenue streams and offering creative ideas and solutions
Some key responsibilities will include, however not limited to:
- Effective client/agency sales calls and attending client/agency meetings every week
- Proactively develop your sales territory through outgoing calls, meetings and client entertainment
- Be a "site champion" for a minimum 2 sites, drive revenue for these sites and attend meetings with each on a quarterly basis.
- Understand all opportunities that exist across the company portfolio and ensure that they are promoted effectively to all contacts
- Drive revenue streams and achieve sales targets
- Manage invoicing procedures for your sales territory at the end of each month
- Ensure high level of industry knowledge and identify opportunities to drive revenue
What we are looking for:
- At least 2 years media sales experience in a commercial company, preferably online although offline may be considered for the right candidate.
- Ability to demonstrate an enthusiasm for online media and an interest in internet advertising. You will possess drive and ambition and thrive in an empowered role that will allow for fast progression and development.
- A commercially aware individual who is enthusiastic, self-driven and thrive on developing relationships with clients.
In essence, we are looking for a seasoned digital advertising sales professional who is a positive, self motivated team player who is also able to work autonomously. You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of success as an Agency Account Manager in the digital sales arena and be able to hit the ground running!
