
This highly respected international publisher is looking for a passionate BDM to drive advertising sales on the worlds leading B2C weekly magazine in its field. With over 50 years in the market, this is a fantastic opportunity to sell a well trusted and recognised publication to both agencies and direct markets.
The Role
You will be the sole sales manager managing sales and increasing cross-platform revenues including print, online and sponsored content. With over 5 years history with top agencies, you will have a strong client base to work with. However this is a new business development role and is requiring someone to source and target new areas, predominantly within the agency field. You will achieve this by being a forward thinker and developing creative solutions such as webinars and events.
The Person
You will be someone who has a proven track record within media sales, ideally within publishing who thrives on building and maintaining new business.
You will have presented to agencies and senior levels, be confident, driven and most of all be a strong relationship builder. You will be able to work autonomously while being a strong team member of this strong publishing team. Most of all a creative and commercial approach along with tenacity and first class people skills will be key in claiming this exciting new position.
